As September rolls around, the excitement of back-to-school season is in full swing. For families, it’s a time of new beginnings, fresh notebooks, and the return of routine. For businesses, particularly those in the VoIP industry, it’s an opportunity to reassess communication needs and ensure seamless connections as the hustle and bustle of autumn sets in.
With schools reopening and workplaces returning to normalcy, the demand for reliable communication tools is higher than ever. VoIP services offer the flexibility and efficiency needed to support this transition, whether it’s for coordinating remote learning, managing increased customer inquiries, or facilitating team collaboration.
Now is the perfect time for businesses to upgrade their VoIP systems, ensuring that they are equipped with the latest features to handle the demands of a busy season. Enhanced call management, video conferencing, and mobile integration are just a few ways VoIP can make the back-to-school period smoother for everyone.
As you gear up for September, consider how VoIP’s advanced capabilities can benefit your communication strategy. With the right tools in place, your business can stay connected and productive no matter how hectic the season gets.
Wishing everyone a successful start to the school year and a seamless transition into the fall season!

Can I meet a dog before applying?
Due to the high volume of applications SDR receive and being a foster-based rescue, an application is required to be submitted before any meet & greets. Be sure to keep an eye out for adoption events! These are great opportunities to meet dogs before applying.
What does the adoption fee include?
Upon entering care, all dogs are seen by a veterinarian and undergo a health check. This ensures that they are physically, mentally, and behaviourally healthy. The health check also ensures that all dogs are dewormed, provided age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed/neutered (if older than six months), and given any other necessary medical care.
How can I tell if a dog is good with kids, cats and/or other dogs?
If a dog has experience with cats, kids, or other dogs, it will be noted in the dog’s adoption biography on the SDR website. If SDR feels that a dog would do well in a specific scenario (without cats, in a single-dog household, etc.), this will also be noted in their biography. A dog often comes in with an unknown history, so they may not know everything about them. However, all of the dogs are behaviourally cleared before being put up for adoption.
I live outside of Saskatoon, can I still apply?
Yes, you can! A virtual meet-and-greet process allows you to meet your dog and ask the foster family questions, all without having to travel to Saskatoon! However, should you decide to adopt the dog, you are responsible for picking it up on a mutually agreeable date arranged with your dog’s foster family.
When are new dogs listed?
New adoptable dogs are listed on Thursday mornings between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on the SDR website and socials. As these new pups become available for adoption, they will be listed on the Adoptable Dogs page, which is updated daily. We encourage you to check the SDR website or socials regularly for new updates!
At Lunar Voice, we believe in the power of connection and communication, not just among people but also with our furry friends. That’s why we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Saskatoon Dog Rescue. This incredible organization is dedicated to providing loving homes for all dogs in need. Together, we aim to shine a spotlight on the precious souls who are patiently waiting for their forever homes.
By featuring these amazing animals in our newsletter, we aim to raise awareness about their stories and increase the chances of finding them loving families. In addition to featuring pups in our monthly newsletter, we will also be donating 5% of our monthly profits to Saskatoon Dog Rescue. Lunar Voice is committed to making a positive impact, and we invite you to join us in supporting these organizations and spreading the word about the importance of pet adoption. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these deserving animals.
