Here are the 7 tips to keep dogs cool outside in hot weather!
1. Keep them hydrated! Try adding some ice cubes to their water to keep it cooler for longer.
2. Take frequent breaks to cool down and provide lots of shade.
3. Use cooling mats or ice packs in their bed to keep them cool.
4. Give them frozen treats and toys, ice licks, ice popsicles, frozen fruits or veggies and frozen Kong treats are a great way to keep them cool and busy.
6. Go swimming (or anything water related), sprinklers, doggy pools or even just playing with the garden hose.
7. Exercise at cooler times of the day.
